FAQ

Questions about the estate, the walks, and what to expect when you arrive.

How long are the walks?

Day walks run from 9am - 3pm, moving at a pace that suits the group. Three-day retreats spread the distance across multiple days usually starting at 9am in Devonport on Friday and finishing in Devonport at lunchtime on Sunday.

How fit do I need to be for this walk?

Not an athlete? Not a problem. Our walks are slow-paced, with plenty of rest stops. If you can handle a few hours of gentle walking with breaks, you'll be fine.

What's the accommodation like?

You’ll be staying at a private lodge with 5 bedrooms - comfortable, off-grid, and surrounded by nature. Think soft beds, hot showers, a sauna, and outdoor baths.

Can I join a tour alone, or do I need to come with a group?

You’re more than welcome to join our tours solo! Our experiences are a great way to meet like-minded wanderers and enjoy the experience in good company.

What sort of wildlife will I see?

Kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, and all kinds of birdlife. And at night? Possums, quolls, maybe even a Tasmanian devil - with the help of our night vision goggles.
